For the original Vivo Y19 (2019 / Model V1930), the power key is a strictly mechanical component. Unlike the modern 5G version or the Y19s, this model does not have a fingerprint sensor built into the power button; instead, the sensor is located on the back of the phone as a separate piece.
⚙️ Component Functions & Details
The replacement part for the old Y19 is a 2-in-1 flexible printed circuit (FPC) that handles the following:
Power On/Off Control: Provides the internal mechanical contacts for the side power button to wake the device, lock the screen, or perform hard resets.
Volume Adjustments: Includes the integrated switches for both the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons.
Mechanical Only: This cable is purely for physical button signals. It does not contain any biometric sensors or complex electronic logic, making it simpler and more affordable to replace than newer integrated versions.

Important Notes for Repair
Fingerprint Sensor is Separate: If your fingerprint scanner is the part that is failing, you need to search for the Vivo Y19 Rear Fingerprint Sensor Flex, as it is a completely independent part from the power/volume buttons.
Identify by Port: You can confirm you have the “old” Y19 if your phone uses a Micro-USB charging port. The newer 2025 version uses USB-C.
Fragility: The ribbon cable is extremely thin. When installing, ensure there are no sharp kinks or tears, as even a hairline crack will cause the buttons to stop workin
